Jack Link’s Wild Side Store Gets Fresh with Deli-Style Jerky, Jack’s Signature Batch
Made in Jack Link’s Minneapolis Innovation Center, Jack’s Signature Batch to offer culinary-inspired flavors
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Jack Link’s is bringing jerky lovers a unique eating experience exclusive to Downtown Minneapolis, Jack’s Signature Batch. Made fresh from the kitchen in the Jack Link’s Innovation Center, Jack’s Signature Batch combines the Link family heritage of smoking meat in small batches and new gourmet flavors. The handcrafted line will start with three unique flavors, sold deli-counter style in the Jack Link’s Wild Side retail store, located in the Target Center Skyway.

Our fans will be able to taste bold and unique flavors you can’t find anywhere else. And with a customized ordering process you can snack in whatever size you need to feed your wild side.”
Created by Jack Link’s in-house culinary team, Jack’s Signature Batch will rotate and introduce new flavors every few months. The debut flavors include:
Inspired by popular cuisine, the Umami flavor profile is an exceptional bold and savory taste lending itself perfectly to beef. Your taste buds are taken on a journey with slightly smoky and sweet flavors with hints of roasted mushroom and tomato and finishing with a mild black pepper bite.
Roasted coffee now taken to a new level. Using premium cuts of turkey, the dark roasted coffee flavor is complemented by an upfront sweet caramel note and finished with roasted chilis.
Where tradition meets craft. Inspired by a traditional cola, the flavor sensation on beef delivers hints of dark caramel and warm spices that finishes with a balanced smoky note.

Expanding Innovation and Culinary Capabilities
The launch of Jack’s Signature Batch is part of the broader grand opening of the Jack Link’s Innovation Center, located in the company’s Minneapolis offices in Mayo Clinic Square. The 12,000-sq. ft test kitchen and USDA approved production facility will allow Jack Link’s R&D and culinary teams to rapidly move from concept to production.

Housed on the first floor of the Minneapolis Mayo Clinic Square, the Jack Link’s Innovation Center offers a transparent view of its culinary process to passersby. The design was intentional to provide transparency to consumers in how its products are made.
